This year, the "la Caixa" Foundation has awarded 110 doctoral and postdoctoral scholarships to researchers who carry out their projects at leading universities and research centers in Spain and Portugal. In this way, the entity supports young talents and promotes innovative and high-quality research in the Iberian Peninsula.
In this year's call, the scholarship program has awarded 65 doctoral and 45 postdoctoral scholarships to excellent researchers, among whom we find Dr. Marc Suárez-Calvet, head of the Fluid Biomarkers and Translational Neurology Research Team at the Barcelona Beta Brain Research Center.
The postdoctoral fellowship awarded to Suárez-Calvet has a duration of 3 years and includes a complementary training program that aims to consolidate research skills and promote a scientific career.
